Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues in Mumbai and other regional locations to prepare marketing materials, including company profiles, public information brochures, benchmarking analysis, pricing updates, earnings summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analysis, and competitor analysis. Provide deal support for execution projects across geographies.
- Analyze and learn to evaluate a company’s financial statements, set up trading and transaction comparables, create valuation models, and perform financial metric benchmarking for various companies.
- Conduct research by sourcing and interpreting company/industry information from diverse data sources such as company reports, online databases, and proprietary content. Develop insights on specific industries and monitor developments, opportunities, and new client prospects.
- Assist in industry or product coverage by working with teams across regions to apply and develop market fundamentals related to geography or industry (e.g., economic/market conditions, competitive landscape, risks, and trends). Track a set of clients, emerging sectors, or product themes to pitch potential ideas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record and keen interest in pursuing a career in finance.
Preferred skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and thoughts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team across different geographies, with a proactive attitude and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical mindset and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with banking solutions and services, along with knowledge of financial analysis and financial modeling using MS Office applications, is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and ensuring regulatory compliance within the firm.
