Key Responsibilities:
- Source indirect spend categories with a spend range of <$250k.
- Evaluate and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts.
- Ensure services provided are in line with contract specifications.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, quotations, and competitive bids with relevant specifications, terms, and conditions.
- Develop, review, negotiate, and execute complex business agreements and contracts.
- Perform supplier evaluation, selection, and establish ongoing performance management.
- Continuously scout for better suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and meet deadlines.
- Conduct spend and market analysis to identify the best available market prices for ongoing projects.
- Efficiently manage relationships with internal and external customers and partners.
- Responsible for achieving savings targets, timely deliveries, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Participate in periodic reviews with regional commodity managers to ensure strategy alignment and progress.
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements within specified deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation in any field.
- M.Com/MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree with a strong academic record.
- Relevant work experience in a sourcing role, preferably with experience in indirect services.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of day-to-day sourcing and procurement activities.
- Effective communication and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
Preferred skills:
- Strong customer-centric approach with excellent relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive and “can-do” attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, Emptoris, or other sourcing and procurement tools is a plus.
