Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues of testers that assess the functionalities of routers and switches.
- Commission new test setups for routers and switches.
- Analyze test event logs and resolve both software and hardware issues for testers/products.
- Interpret manufacturing test plans and procedures for routers/switches, ensure readiness of test line requirements, and complete validation to qualify the test line as per NPI timelines.
- Maintain zero downtime on the repair shop floor for testers and functional analysis (FA) processes.
- Manage preventive maintenance and annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for testers, equipment, and spare parts.
- Oversee the productivity of the testing team.
- Document tester information, define test work instructions, and create test procedures for the production line.
- Monitor tester capacity calculation and utilization.
- Set up debug benches and support the production team with training on debug processes.
- Lead cost reduction initiatives in the repair shop floor through the test engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) and customers for support and NPI activities.
- Maintain assets related to test equipment and spare parts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics and Communication with 1-3 years of experience in EMS and engineering repair operations.
- B.E. (EEE/ECE) graduate with (0-2) years of experience as a NPI/ECO Engineer in Manufacturing set up, Preferably in EMS Industry.
Preferred skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics and Communication with 1-3 years of experience in EMS and engineering repair operations.
- Proficiency in bench programming tools (Dediprog, Lattice, Superpro Blaster, LT Powerplay, JTAG, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of CCNA, networking concepts, and burn-in hot chamber processes.
- Preferred experience in C++ and Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (CentOS).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
