Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong partnerships with the business unit to identify and explore impactful analytics and operational opportunities aimed at driving operational efficiencies and cost reduction.
- Establish a monitoring framework for business initiatives, ensuring that the business unit is promptly alerted in case of any issues.
- Support data requests and perform data analysis for tax audits.
- Develop advanced data visualizations and insight-driven analytics.
- Conduct post-launch monitoring to measure the performance of features and programs, and report findings to product and business teams.
- Promote a self-serve analytics culture within the organization by educating partners on key reports, data, and best practices for interpretation.
- Maintain proactive collaboration with other business functions, such as Customer Services, Legal, and Finance teams, to ensure visibility and alignment across functions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent technical skills in data analysis and process development, particularly with SQL.
- Proficient in using data visualization and self-service tools such as Tableau.
- Familiarity with Python and Alteryx is beneficial.
- Proven experience in end-to-end analytics, including problem definition, data collection, result analysis, synthesis, and communicating compelling arguments to influence partners.
- Experienced in handling large data sets (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata) and working in agile environments.
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into effective software solutions.
- Capable of working independently while contributing as part of a global tax team.
- Experience in advanced analytics with strong knowledge of SQL and Python is advantageous.
