Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate mapping documents according to the mapping process.
- Deliver a first draft solution to ETL/Reporting/Conversion for coding by quickly understanding which details about the mapping can be deferred.
- Support DSD creation and response.
- Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customers, and/or vendors to gain acceptance of the design.
- Support ETL/Reporting/Conversion developers based on the mappings created.
- Work closely with the configuration team and DBAs to ensure synchronicity of configuration to interfaces and mappings.
- Refine mapping documents, adding more detail and filling out deferred material as questions are resolved.
- Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary, and schema to perform data and business analysis.
- Create unit test cases for the area of responsibility.
- Validate test plan results to ensure they satisfy the detailed design goals.
- Update technical specifications and mappings.
- Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Analytical and data analysis skills within a technical environment, preferably SQL.
- Healthcare knowledge within a claims processing environment, preferably in Medicaid.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with QNXT/Schema or Facets.
- Data mapping experience.
- Healthcare and business knowledge in member eligibility, TPL, claims processing, provider, and pharmacy claims.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Experience in conversion, interface, and reporting.
