Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully contribute to major projects and complex assignments within a team, considering their broad scope and long-term business implications.
- Support technical testing efforts to enhance Quality Assurance by building, implementing, and executing tests, automation improvements, and reporting for our regression release cycle.
- Collaborate with senior team members to expand the test automation framework and increase test coverage.Assist software developers on assigned projects with implementation tasks.
- Promote Quality as a fundamental aspect of the development process.
- Participate actively in Agile SAFe discovery and elaboration sessions.
- Communicate, collaborate, and operate effectively in a global environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Familiarity with various architectural patterns, including multi-tiered web applications and high-performance, high-availability transaction processing systems.
- Demonstrates high initiative and self-motivation to drive results effectively.
- Possesses strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness and ability to rapidly learn and tackle challenging opportunities, functioning well within a diverse, geographically distributed project team structure.
- Familiarity with software development processes, particularly agile methodologies and test-driven development.
- High-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of performing effectively under pressure in an independent work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Core Java Programming.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins).
- Understanding of Java unit testing and common frameworks.
- Knowledge of Splunk, including dashboard creation and setting up alerts/monitors.
- Proficiency in Oracle & PL/SQL and advanced SQL scripting.
- Experience using IDEs such as JBoss Developer Studio or IntelliJ.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Distributed Computing at scale.
- Familiarity with Splunk and advanced skills in dashboard creation.
- Experience with tools like Putty, WinSCP, Toad, Postman, etc.
