Key Responsibilities:
- Provide decision support to achieve business objectives, including conducting gap assessments, proposing strategies to address gaps, and coordinating implementation of action plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting and business scenario planning for monthly financial reports, analyzing profit and loss movements, and questioning factory costs and corporate expenses.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives, IBO (Innovation, Brand Building, and Optimization), and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) value creation efforts, tracking progress and status of initiatives meticulously.
- Evaluate capital expenditure, PFME (Promotion, Field Marketing, and Events), and PTS (Trade Spend) expenditures to enhance financial decision-making, maintain a learning log, and implement improvements to boost ROI.
- Actively participate in strategy development, providing input and supporting comprehensive scenario planning using tools like MBS/ATLAS for long-term management decision-making.
- Support innovation and renovation projects, including modeling manufacturing and sales & distribution structures, and providing financial insights for New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) processes.
- Prepare high-quality presentations for financial reviews and other meetings, conveying business results and forecasts to senior management in Vevey.
- Coordinate with countries within the region (Sri Lanka & Bangladesh) for business updates, financial reviews, dynamic forecasting, and gap management to ensure reliable SAR (Sustainable in a Resource-constrained Environment) overview.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis to support globally managed businesses, contributing insights to the GMB (Globally Managed Business) Zone.
- Manage PFME (Promotion, Field Marketing, and Events) and MOGE (Marketing Overheads and General Expenses) within the Business Unit, conducting spend analysis, sharing updates, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Recommend internal controls and ensure adherence to budgets within the Business Unit.
- Conduct finance reviews within the BU to communicate business performance, highlight challenges, and identify opportunities to team leads.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer of finance concepts to non-finance personnel within the BU, fostering awareness of financial KPIs and individual contributions.
- Provide support for visits and meetings with international, SBU (Strategic Business Unit), and Vevey visitors, offering timely and insightful inputs for events like board meetings and analyst meetings.
