Key Responsibilities:
- Joining the Decision Intelligence team within the Business Support Domain of Data & Analytics, tasked with simplifying decision-making processes.
- Collaborating with various data sources to compile information regarding costs incurred and sales made by IKEA.
- Streamlining manual tasks and ad hoc reporting to increase efficiency.
- Contributing to and benefiting from the Ingka data mesh, facilitating scalable access to analytical data.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You possess a passion for storytelling and excel in using data visualizations to convey information effectively.
- You have extensive expertise in constructing visually immersive and interactive insights using tools like Power BI.
- You demonstrate proficient knowledge of data pre-processing techniques, including handling missing data.
- You exhibit a strong understanding of SQL and its significance in data analysis.
- You are acquainted with cloud computing environments and the range of data-related products and services they offer, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- You possess broad knowledge of relevant scripting languages like Python and understand the role of notebook environments in sharing findings and code.
- You have a solid grasp of collaborative software engineering practices, including Agile, DevOps, and GitOps, fostering solutions through self-organizing cross-functional teams.
- You are familiar with digital product development principles, particularly the importance of rapid validated learning cycles to optimize long-term performance, preferably in a retail setting.
