- As a developer for JOULE and Gen AI, you will be instrumental in shaping SAP’s future by working on a platform that offers natural language processing capabilities and seamlessly integrates with other SAP products. Ultimately, this platform aims to realize the vision of a unified digital assistant for SAP powered by LLMs. As a senior member of the team, you will lead by example.
- Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities with a sense of ownership.
- Peer Code Review: Recognizing that any code can impact the application, you will be involved in reviewing your peers’ code to ensure quality and reliability.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions under the guidance and mentorship of experienced agile engineers. Participate in designing and architecting components, and engage in code reviews.
- Ownership of Deliverables: Take ownership of your work throughout all agile phases, including testing, to ensure successful implementation.
- Pipeline Management: Gain hands-on experience with source repositories, Jenkins, and CI/CD principles to ensure efficient pipeline management.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Engineering graduate with 0-2 years of practical experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, EDA, Cloud technologies, Threads, Redis, SAP BTP, and the Playwright test framework. Possess a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
Preferred skills:
- Responsible for architecting a code component that operates seamlessly across all SAP systems, catering to millions of users. This role demands accountability and a keen sense of responsibility.
