Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain code that is both maintainable, scalable, and efficient.
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, engaging with peers in both Data Science Engineering (DSE) and Data Engineering (DE) throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Adhere to coding standards, conduct unit-testing, and participate in code reviews, among other best practices.
- Abide by release cycles and demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of interfaces, API contracts, latencies, efficiency considerations, and associated costs.
- Demonstrate proficient analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience working with very large scale applications.
- Proficient in implementing microservices at internet scale.
- Skilled in Python, Java, Kafka, Spark, as well as NoSQL databases such as Aerospike and MongoDB.
- Experience with distributed systems managing substantial data volumes, and expertise in deploying Machine Learning (ML) solutions at scale is advantageous.
- Familiarity with designing engineering solutions centered around ML models is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in data structures, and algorithms.
- Exhibit excellent coding skills.
