Key Responsibilities:
- Guaranteeing accurate and compliant employment-related payments and deductions across all assigned countries.
- Delivering the highest level of customer service by offering guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Mastery of data collection and validation processes.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders including HR, payroll providers, and finance teams.
- Upholding all deadlines to ensure timely processing.
- Forecasting salaries and executing bank transfers efficiently.
- Ensuring proper statutory and internal reporting procedures are followed.
- Participating in payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reviewing local legislation, internal processes, and policies for alignment and compliance.
- Streamlining and documenting processes to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Implementing and reinforcing effective controls to mitigate the risk of errors.
- Assisting the Senior HR Manager with compensation and benefits projects as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Familiarity with local income tax, social security, pension schemes, statutory leaves, and other payroll components.
- Practical experience using payroll and human resources software.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Possession of an innovative and resourceful mindset well-suited for a rapidly expanding startup environment.
- Proficiency in Excel with a strong working knowledge.
Preferred skills:
- Previous experience with in-house payroll processes.
- Basic understanding of Jira and SQL.
- Familiarity with Google Suite applications such as Drive and Sheets.
