Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day BAU operations, which includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.
- Take the lead in planning and executing cloud migration projects, overseeing the transfer of applications and services between different cloud service providers.
- Work closely with engineering teams to grasp their requirements and offer Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools, technologies, and processes aimed at enhancing efficiency.
- Develop and upkeep automation scripts and tools to simplify operational processes effectively.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for the deployment of applications across diverse environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system architecture for better scalability and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, taking proactive measures as needed.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
- Actively participate in rotational on-call duties to ensure uninterrupted operational support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Possesses a robust understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker, alongside orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficient in various programming and scripting languages including Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash.
- Well-versed in CI/CD methodologies and adept with tools like Jenkins, Git, and ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills pertaining to Infrastructure and Systems.
- Exhibits excellent communication and collaboration skills.
