Key Responsibilities:
- Codes and implements enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, encompassing operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Executes predefined test plans and protocols for designated portions of code; identifies, records, and troubleshoots assigned issues.
- Develops understanding of and fosters relationships with internal and outsourced development partners concerning software systems design and development.
- Participates as a member of a project team consisting of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to formulate reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
- Typically possesses 0-2 years of experience.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity or experience with software systems design tools and languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of designing software systems compatible with multiple platform types.
- Familiarity with basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English and local language.
