Key Responsibilities:

- GE Digital Interns serve as the primary pipeline for full-time employment opportunities within GE.
- Interns are selected based on availability of positions and the interviewer’s assessment, with a focus on specific areas such as Software Engineering functions.
- Internship assignments, usually lasting 6 months, are dynamic and challenging, tailored to business needs and required work.
- Interns gain substantial exposure to key Software and business leaders at GE.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator program.
- Education background in computer science engineering subjects.
- Minimum cumulative or in-major GPA of 6.5.
- Commitment to working full-time (40 hrs/wk) during the internship.
- Anticipated graduation in 2024 and availability for the internship from January 8th, 2024, to July 19th, 2024.
- Physical presence at the GE office and dedication to the program for six months without concurrent coursework or project assignments.
- Availability for the internship period without more than 1-2 days of leave for exams or coursework.
- Willingness to work out of an office located in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, with the location assigned based on business needs.
- Legal authorization to work in India is required.
Preferred skills:
- Previous internship, co-op, or research experience in software or a related field.
- Leadership experience, whether inside or outside the classroom.
- A dedicated commitment to pursuing a career in technology, coupled with a passion or aptitude for software engineering.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including familiarity with industry standards and development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning.
