Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with BCG’s core consulting business in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing unique skills and capabilities to the team.
- Apply a solid understanding of statistics and statistical theoretical concepts (univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods) to deliver practical data analytics outcomes using specialized survey data analysis tools such as SPSS, Sawtooth, etc.
- Demonstrate strong data interpretation capabilities and utilize tools like Alteryx and advanced Excel for survey data transformation, processing, and the creation of formula/macro-driven models and simulators.
- Exhibit a talent for graphical representation of analytical outputs, employing visualization tools like PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight to convey analytics results in an engaging and insightful manner.
- Engage with virtual, multicultural global teams, requiring effective collaboration across different time zones.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adept at handling ambiguity and unstructured situations.
- Manage multiple tasks, including networking, relationship building, and informal business development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree with a proven track record of high academic achievement in analytics, data science, or mathematics, coupled with relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics (including projects, coursework, or internships).
- Candidates with educational backgrounds in Statistics/Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics at the Bachelor’s level will be given preference.
Preferred skills:
- 0-1 years of pertinent experience in the field of market research and data analytics.
- Proficient analytical skills encompassing data management, processing, and analysis.
- Hands-on expertise in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, SQL is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of and a natural inclination for database and analytical tool management.
- Robust ability to collaborate with multiple, geographically dispersed teams in a fast-paced environment, adept at multitasking, and effective operation within a matrix organization structure.
- Capable of independently engaging with senior stakeholders, adept at prioritizing work, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and credibility, characterized by a collaborative and team-oriented approach, a robust work ethic, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
