Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise BIG data to crunch millions of samples for solutions involving statistical modelling, data mining, recommendations, or search relevance.
- Write code of production quality and have an impact on LinkedIn’s systems going forward.
- This position is a full-time internship that will run from May through September 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Presently pursuing a B.S., B.E., or B.Tech. in electrical engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, machine learning, or a similar technical subject
- Knowledge of Python, Java, C++, or another general-purpose programming language.
Preferred skills:
- Prior involvement in open source project(s), publishing papers in prestigious journals or conferences, or other research groups or activities.
- Practical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Information Retrieval, Recommender Systems, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Advanced Statistics, and Optimisation.
