Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and project management expertise to enhance the existing Data Governance model.
- Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to gain insights into our technology, enabling the definition of specific data attributes and identification of relevant owners and source system(s), as well as understanding data flows.
- Enhance the risk framework for data governance by documenting existing controls, assessing their suitability, and suggesting new controls for implementation.
- Foster strong working relationships with Sales, Legal, Compliance, Controllers, Technology, and other relevant groups to establish and maintain an updated Data Governance model.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Business Intelligence & Low-code Automation solutions to digitize the Data Governance framework and enhance operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.
Preferred skills:
- Possesses strong analytical and project management skills.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, interacting with various personalities, and providing broad-based coverage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, with the ability to adapt to other software products.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Some exposure to Data Governance tools (e.g., Collibra) is preferred.
- Familiarity with the investment management industry and GSAM is considered a bonus.
- Possession of Business Intelligence experience and relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau/ Alteryx) is also considered a bonus.
