Key Responsibilities:
- Test web and mobile applications to ensure they meet quality, functionality, and reliability standards.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and report issues accurately with clear documentation.
- Validate newly developed features and verify bug fixes to ensure they function as expected.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product team members to understand business requirements and testing objectives.
- Perform functional, regression, and sanity testing to ensure application stability and performance.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, and test result documentation in accordance with established testing processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills:
- Possess a basic understanding of software testing principles, quality assurance (QA) concepts, and testing methodologies.
- Have knowledge of web and mobile application functionality and testing practices.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail along with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Possess basic knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright will be considered an added advantage.
- Have a basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and software development practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices will be an added advantage.
