Key Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of the Data Science team in the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate actionable insights, innovative solutions, new technologies, and intellectual property.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and visualization activities for assigned projects in accordance with defined project plans and methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct experiments, validations, and research activities aligned with project objectives.
- Collect, document, and analyze data using established protocols and processes, and communicate findings effectively to team members for review and continuous improvement.
- Assist in preparing technical literature, research papers, presentations, patent applications, and supporting documentation for peer reviews, publications, and industry or scientific conferences.
- Utilize scientific research methodologies, data collection techniques, analytical tools, and statistical packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data.
- Develop algorithms, mathematical models, and data-driven applications by conducting experiments and transforming data into meaningful business intelligence.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of data quality governance frameworks, including processes, standards, policies, and validation rules.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to extract, clean, transform, and analyze complex datasets from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
- Work independently on moderately complex assignments by applying professional expertise, exercising sound judgment, and resolving issues in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a four-year Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or possess equivalent work experience and demonstrated professional competence.
- Have 2–4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in data analytics, database management, statistical analysis, or a related field. Candidates with an advanced degree and little or no prior work experience may also be considered.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data analytics principles, statistical techniques, and database management concepts.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
- Exhibit effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Certifications:
- Professional certification in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or other related technologies will be considered an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Possess knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Have an understanding of business intelligence concepts.
- Demonstrate a strong foundation in computer science.
- Be proficient in data analysis and data management.
- Have knowledge of data modeling and data quality practices.
- Understand data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Possess basic knowledge of data science and machine learning.
- Be skilled in creating dashboards and data visualizations.
- Be proficient in Power BI and Tableau.
- Have programming knowledge of Python, R, and SQL.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of statistical concepts.
