Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions to support Nike’s design and creation community across web, front-end, and cloud-native platforms.
- Build and enhance responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications using modern front-end technologies, design systems, and browser capabilities.
- Develop and integrate cloud-native applications, APIs, platforms, and services by following an API-first engineering approach.
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and develop software by completing assigned tasks within the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Support the complete software development lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
- Continuously improve the usability, performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability of user-facing applications and backend services.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development or application engineering.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and related tools.
- Experience working with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and Amazon S3.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and core computer science fundamentals.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and data-driven solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of modern software architectures, including RESTful APIs, domain-driven design (DDD), and microservices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong professional relationships.
