Key Responsibilities:
- Execute predefined test cases for Voice, Data, and Transport network services.
- Support regression testing and perform post-execution validation activities.
- Capture and maintain logs, traces, and packet captures as required.
- Analyze logs and protocol traces to identify failures and anomalies.
- Assist in defect reproduction, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Update test execution status, results, and reports accurately.
- Coordinate with onsite teams for test handovers, execution windows, and status updates.
- Manage multiple test executions while ensuring effective prioritization.
- Follow established testing processes, documentation standards, and quality guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2–3 years of experience in telecom network operations.
- Good understanding of telecom and computer networking concepts.
- Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI layers, DNS, and routing concepts.
- Strong interest in telecom services, network testing, and service assurance.
- Good communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore and onsite teams across different time zones.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.
- Basic understanding of VoIP, SIP, and network call flows.
- Exposure to ticketing and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or HP QC.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands and remote working environments, including VPNs and jump servers.
- Awareness of automation concepts, Python programming, and CI/CD practices.
- Interest in network troubleshooting and protocol-level analysis.
