Key Responsibilities:
Understanding Test Requirements and Test Case Design:
- Analyze product test requirements and contribute to effective test case design and development.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable scenarios.
- Implement model-based testing methodologies in alignment with Wipro’s testing standards to improve test generation efficiency.
- Ensure all test cases are peer-reviewed to minimize rework and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and maintain test cases and version controls.
- Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-of-scope activities while actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate different stages of the test lifecycle using tools and technologies such as VB macros, scheduling utilities, and GUI automation.
Automation Framework Design and Execution:
- Design, develop, and execute automation frameworks along with generating detailed automation reports.
- Develop and automate software validation tests by setting up test environments, creating test plans, preparing test cases/scenarios, and executing test activities.
- Ensure defects are logged as per defined project, program, or account standards with clear descriptions and reproducible steps.
- Identify software bugs, prepare defect reports, and provide regular updates on testing progress.
- Deliver assigned work items within defined Wipro and customer SLAs, ensuring zero rejection or delay in deliverables.
- Prepare and release test execution status dashboards on time for stakeholder review after each testing cycle.
- Provide feedback on product usability and serviceability, assess quality risks, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Focus:
- Maintain continuous status reporting and customer communication regarding testing activities and execution progress.
- Ensure professional and effective customer interactions through emails, defect tracking updates, voice calls, and adherence to business etiquette standards.
- Deliver Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboard updates within agreed timelines in the test management repository.
- Accurately update effort tracking details in eCube, TMS, and other project-related tracking systems.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and maintain high customer satisfaction with no internal or external complaints.
