Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist in the preparation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and basic automated tests to identify defects and issues in the software.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand features and system functionalities.
- Report defects with clear documentation and track them through to resolution.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software stability and compliance with design specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of testing processes and results, and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or a Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
- Possess a basic understanding of software testing concepts, including SDLC and STLC.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Exhibit strong analytical and logical thinking abilities along with effective communication skills.
- Have familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG (preferred).
- Possess a basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
