Key Responsibilities:
- Analyses large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support informed business decision-making, and develops and optimizes SQL queries, data models, and analytical datasets for reporting and advanced analysis.
- Designs, builds, and maintains BI dashboards and reports using enterprise BI tools, and works with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP to access, process, and analyse data.
- Performs data preparation, transformation, and validation using Python, PySpark, and Databricks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborates with data engineering teams to develop and optimize data pipelines, implement data quality checks, and enhance system performance, while applying data modelling principles to create scalable and reusable datasets.
- Supports AI-driven analytics initiatives by conducting exploratory data analysis and preparing features for machine learning models.
- Works in Agile environments by contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demonstration sessions to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Maintains project documentation and governance artifacts using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and DevOps platforms.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and data validation tasks.
- Possesses hands-on experience in Python for data analysis, transformation, and automation.
- Has experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Exhibits practical experience with at least one cloud platform, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Maintains working knowledge of PySpark and Databricks for large-scale data processing.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of data modelling concepts, including dimensional modelling and fact and dimension tables.
- Possesses a well-rounded skill set across Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Modelling, and Business Intelligence.
- Is familiar with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Has experience working with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
