Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for embedded Linux systems.
- Apply strong C programming and system-level programming skills to optimize and enhance software performance.
- Explore, implement, and manage Bluetooth functionalities using the BlueZ stack.
- Contribute to driver development and perform debugging activities, including Linux kernel-level debugging (preferred skill).
- Implement, test, and troubleshoot communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software with embedded systems.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze and enhance existing embedded systems to improve security, performance, and overall user experience.
- Support projects involving Azure IoT to enable device connectivity and effective data management solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in C and Embedded C programming, with experience using version control systems such as Git and SVN.
- Working knowledge of embedded Linux kernel architecture and device driver development.
- Understanding of communication protocols, including UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with the BlueZ Bluetooth stack.
- Exposure to or knowledge of Azure IoT is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
