Key Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver complex credit assessments, including loss given default analysis, speculative-grade liquidity evaluations, and credit estimates, producing high-quality and well-supported credit opinions.
- Apply Moody’s rating methodologies to develop adjusted financial data, key performance indicators, ratios, charts, and visual analyses that enhance the accuracy and quality of ratings and research outputs.
- Perform advanced data validation, data cleansing, and detailed financial analysis, including the review of financial statements and official disclosures, to assess issuer financial performance.
- Collaborate closely with analysts and accounting specialists to apply relevant accounting principles and ensure accurate capture and interpretation of data for ratings purposes.
- Lead analytical and operational projects, drive process improvements, and review the work of junior team members to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting from a premier institute, or a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- CFA or FRM certification is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- 0–2 years of experience in credit or financial data analysis and interpretation, with knowledge of capital markets; experience in Structured Finance is preferred.
- Strong ability to identify key credit risk factors and apply relevant credit methodologies to support analytical and decision-making processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized, with a proven ability to perform effectively in team-driven environments.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including Generative AI tools and Agentic AI systems, with curiosity and enthusiasm to learn how AI can be leveraged to improve research, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
- Demonstrated interest in applying AI technologies to enhance productivity, while developing awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
