Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to address diverse business use cases.
- Architect and build natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI solutions using transformer-based models such as GPT, BERT, and related architectures.
- Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and distill pre-trained large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific applications, including summarization, question answering, and text classification.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business problems and translate them into scalable, data-driven AI solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to support model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Integrate and manage internal and external data sources, including structured and unstructured data, within knowledge graphs and vector databases such as ChromaDB, FAISS, and Neo4j.
- Evaluate, select, and apply appropriate AI/ML frameworks and tools, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LangChain, based on project requirements.
- Monitor model performance in production environments and perform periodic retraining and optimization to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Document models, workflows, and codebases to ensure reproducibility, maintainability, and effective knowledge sharing across teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, with a foundational understanding of data science libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, including TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
- Basic hands-on experience with at least one generative AI framework, such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation techniques, and best practices for model deployment.
- Working knowledge of cloud and containerization platforms, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker, for model training and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Software, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or an equivalent discipline) with 1 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to unstructured data processing and analysis techniques.
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects and/or authorship of research publications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter with a positive attitude, strong ethical standards, and a proven track record of developing analytics solutions.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early or late schedules as required, to support collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop and execute collaborative project plans.
- Proactive in seeking information, feedback, and direction to successfully deliver against defined statements of work.
