Key Responsibilities:
- Test IT General Controls (ITGC) by evaluating key IT processes such as user access management, change management, and system operations to ensure effective functioning.
- Test IT Application Controls (ITAC) by reviewing and assessing controls within software applications to confirm accurate and secure transaction processing.
- Participate in Third Party Assurance (TPA) assessments to evaluate controls and risks associated with third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with required standards.
- Review audit trails by analyzing system activity records to track changes, detect unauthorized actions, and support accountability.
- Assess backup management procedures to verify effective data backup and recovery processes for business continuity in case of failures or data loss.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather information, communicate audit findings, and support the implementation of recommendations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications).
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Required Skills:
- Ability to understand and analyze a client’s business environment and associated IT risks.
- Proficiency in using technology-based tools to support audit testing and data analysis.
- Capability to identify and evaluate IT General Controls and Application Controls within complex systems.
- Skill in assessing the reliability and accuracy of data produced and used by IT systems during audits.
- Experience in reviewing audit trails to detect irregularities and support accountability.
- Knowledge of backup management processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams during the audit process.
- Attention to detail in documenting audit findings and preparing clear, organized workpapers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Self-motivated and curious, with awareness of news and current events.
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Capability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
