Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in shaping the pod strategy by defining critical performance metrics, monitoring trends, and driving necessary interventions based on performance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with business and product teams to understand core business problems and translate them into well-defined analytical problem statements.
- Take ownership of the insight generation process by conducting deep, unbiased analysis to address identified problem statements, and present evidence-based, data-driven hypotheses to influence decisions.
- Go beyond the role of a traditional “data person” by contributing independent ideas to improve critical pod metrics, approaching problems with a business-owner mindset and validating assumptions through data.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in analytics and data visualization, ensuring dashboards are effectively designed and built for easy consumption by the pod, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 0.5 to 3 years of experience in analytics or related roles.
- Open to applications from 2025 graduates.
- Prior internship experience in analytics or data-related roles is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A strong interest in business and curiosity to understand product functionality and impact.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate and consolidate data from multiple sources for analysis and dashboarding.
- Strong data intuition and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Working knowledge of data analysis languages such as R or Python, along with a solid understanding of core statistical concepts.
- Experience in building machine learning models is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates who can effectively communicate the story and insights behind their analysis will have a competitive edge.
