Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data models to support various business requirements.
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline data processing and minimize manual efforts.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and solutions utilizing AWS, SQL, Power BI, Python, and Power Apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Develop automated data processing pipelines using Python.
- Perform data analysis to extract insights and drive informed business decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain coding standards by actively participating in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data models, data pipelines, and automation projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data modeling, data analytics, data engineering, and automation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with business users.
- Strong ability to collaborate with both business and technical teams.
- Quick adaptability to fast-changing business environments.
- Experience in project management using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn.
- A team player with leadership capabilities and the ability to take initiative.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in writing Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions.
- Key contributor in creating SSRS Reports.
- Experience in integrating Power BI Reports and Dashboards into PowerApps.
- Strong understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methodologies.
- Proficient in using multiple out-of-the-box (OOTB) connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate, with the ability to create custom connectors when required.
- Solid working knowledge of T-SQL, SQL Server, and query optimization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with DAX expressions, including filters, aggregate functions, and mathematical functions.
- Comfortable working with filters, calculated columns, measures, relationships, and data transformations in the Power BI query editor.
- Experience in performing database backups, restoring databases, and creating jobs for regular backups and performance monitoring.
- Expertise in generating automated emails from SQL Server for various purposes, such as job monitoring.
- Advanced experience in handling ad-hoc reporting requests and providing insights as per business requirements.
