Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a talented team to deliver a best-in-class user interface (UI) experience for a market-leading IT Business Management product.
- Contribute to a team with end-to-end ownership of the product, encompassing design, development, deployment, operations, and customer interactions.
- Work closely with other teams at Apptio to ensure seamless integration of the product within the overall Apptio ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1-4 years of proven experience in developing, testing, and supporting enterprise-level software applications.
- Proficiency in Java development is essential.
- Hands-on experience with frontend development using ReactJS is required.
- Proficient in designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with test-driven development and related frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrated skills in developing web or enterprise-scale software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and critical thinking abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- System design, software-defined infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
- AWS or other public cloud technologies.
- Database implementation, including query optimization, index generation, and caching, with knowledge of relational databases, schema design, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Distributed source control systems, such as Git or Mercurial.
- Working in a DevOps model.
