Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual verification of unrecognized information on invoices at the header level and partially at the line-item level.
- Reconcile line items on invoices with valid purchase orders or transportation orders (trip files).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices and transportation orders (trip files) in collaboration with transport owners or business units.
- Determine the appropriate VAT code for transport based on the decision matrix.
- Process invoices within the SAP workflow using information provided by the respective business unit.
- Execute monthly accounting and reporting tasks in compliance with DHL Freight’s accounting policies.
- Provide feedback to system owners regarding quality issues and processing challenges.
- Offer day-to-day support for Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensuring seamless handling of incoming invoices from receipt to payment preparation.
- Perform repetitive and routine AP tasks under direct supervision, following established guidelines and processes.
- Adhere to required standards, terms, and procedures in service delivery.
- Collect and input relevant data to provide administrative support under close supervision.
- Identify recurring issues in AP processes and address them as per guidelines or escalate for resolution if needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
Experience Level:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
- Excellent data entry skills with an aptitude for working with numbers.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
