Key Responsibilities:
- Create multiple Tableau dashboards to visualize business analysis.
- Understand customer requirements and create a design document to finalize the number of dashboards or graphs, graph types, algorithms, and business logic needed.
- Connect Tableau to SQL databases and develop the designed dashboards.
- Iteratively refine formatting, alignments, and the overall look and feel of the dashboards.
- Perform data quality testing by comparing dashboard outputs with the database and conduct functional testing by checking filters, navigation, etc.
- Publish dashboards on the server, provide user access, gather feedback from end users, and modify dashboards accordingly.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop as a visualization tool.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in developing live interactive Tableau dashboards.
- Expertise in working with various Tableau features, including:
- Filters: Quick Filters, Data Source Filters, and Context Filters.
- Calculated Fields, including complex calculations and Level of Detail (LOD) calculations.
- Parameters, Hierarchies, Sets, Groups, and Bins, as well as Joins, Unions, and Data Blending.
- Creating various charts, such as Bar Charts, Stacked Bars, Doughnut Charts, Heatmaps, with Axis Blending and Dual Axis in Tableau.
- Ability to utilize coordinate data to create maps.
- End-to-end experience in designing and deploying data visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Quick learner with the ability to think critically.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
