Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and deliver risk analytics to clients for a significant portion of the global Mutual Fund and ETF universe.
- Continuously streamline and automate the funds data management and risk generation processes through production and engineering enhancements.
- Develop and maintain scripts in R or Python for data analysis as part of research or ongoing projects.
- Provide ongoing development and maintenance of existing application functionality, working closely with client support teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Collaborate and coordinate within a global team on multiple projects in a continuously evolving business environment.
- Monitor global markets and perform ad-hoc analysis to assess the impact of major market events on client portfolios’ risks and investment decisions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Exceptional academic performance with an Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Management, or a related field.
- FRM or CFA designation or other relevant industry certifications (or currently pursuing one) is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience in Unix, SQL, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong interest in learning and implementing new technologies like Python and R.
Skills/Requirements:
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid knowledge of portfolio risk and portfolio management concepts.
- Deep understanding of multi-asset portfolios, including their pricing and risk characteristics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products like Mutual Funds and ETFs, as well as various portfolio strategies across asset classes such as equity, fixed income, allocation, commodity, and alternatives.
- Strong grasp of financial concepts for different instruments across equity, fixed income, commodity, derivatives, etc.
- Experience in wealth management and portfolio management services roles is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across multiple offices and time zones.
- High level of service orientation, responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, design solutions, and implement changes.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Flexible with shift timings.
