Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain existing software applications to improve functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and design new reports by fetching data using SQL, processing the data, and presenting it according to business requirements.
- Gather requirements, understand project scope, prepare work estimates, and effectively plan and execute assigned tasks.
- Participate in client calls and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to component-level technical design discussions and collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions.
- Perform debugging, identify root causes, and document root cause analyses and resolutions.
- Identify and recommend team-level process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and the overall development ecosystem.
- Provide technical support during software releases and ensure smooth deployment and implementation.
- Develop a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model to support application development and reporting requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of unit testing and software testing practices.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and adaptability.
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
- Basic mentoring skills with the ability to support and assist peers.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, BusinessObjects, Power Insight, and DA2.
- Knowledge of CCL is an added advantage.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows is preferred.
