Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, backlog grooming, team retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand project requirements and define effective testing approaches.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on user stories, business requirements, and technical specifications.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects, validate application functionality, and ensure business requirements are met.
- Execute test cases across multiple environments and platforms to verify application compatibility, stability, and responsiveness.
- Identify, document, track, and monitor software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provide clear defect reports, including detailed descriptions, reproduction steps, and severity assessments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate testing progress, resolve issues, and ensure product quality.
- Prepare and present test reports, highlighting testing outcomes, key findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3–10 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, including unit, system, integration, and functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright using the C# SpecFlow framework for test automation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman and REST API automation with C#.
- Good knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
- Strong understanding of Agile software QA methodologies, testing tools, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience using test case management tools such as qTest or similar platforms.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, including writing queries and working with stored procedures for data validation.
- Experience with source control and application lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise (Git), and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
