Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to solve business and technical challenges while utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software solutions and applications for Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) and Customer Experience & Success (CE&S).
- Implement software features, enhancements, engineering best practices, coding standards, security controls, and operational procedures.
- Apply modern engineering methodologies and AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, development efficiency, and overall productivity.
- Monitor and analyze telemetry, logs, and operational data to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and improve application reliability.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation while contributing to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and peer teams to deliver reliable software solutions that support business goals.
- Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles, security standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-powered development practices, to enhance technical expertise and software delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or 1+ years of equivalent software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience developing applications using Microsoft Azure resources and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (VSO), Git, and modern software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Exposure to React or other modern JavaScript frameworks is an added advantage.
- Experience working with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Ability to use Azure Application Insights and Kusto for application monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Understanding of Responsible AI principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure AI services and cloud-based AI solutions.
- Basic knowledge of AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
