Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization’s tax liabilities, including tax compliance, financial reporting, tax planning, and tax controversy processes related to business operations and client transactions.
- Contribute to the planning, accounting, filing, and reporting of the organization’s tax obligations in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in preparing and compiling the information required to support income tax filings and meet tax reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and manage tax payments to regulatory authorities while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Lead and supervise small to medium-sized finance operations or administrative teams, providing guidance and support to clerical and junior-level professionals.
- Provide technical advice on tax procedures, policies, and subject matter while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support continuous process optimization.
- Apply sound conceptual and practical knowledge to interpret and implement organizational policies in alignment with business objectives.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a related field.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, collaborative, and engaging approach.
- Exhibit the ability to quickly understand, analyze, and apply new information effectively.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently while requiring minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to perform effectively in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
- Experience in project management or project coordination/support is considered an added advantage.
