Key Responsibilities:
- Support Cisco’s Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and automation portfolio by providing technical expertise and solution implementation.
- Assist service provider and enterprise customers in adopting software-defined technologies and automation solutions to support their IT transformation initiatives.
- Gather customer requirements through early-stage engagements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Design, deliver, and execute software-defined and automation solutions that align with customer objectives and business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with customers, technical teams, and project leads to ensure successful solution deployment and implementation.
- Provide technical guidance on software automation, development methodologies, and modern software-defined technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by supporting their digital transformation journey and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Influence and manage stakeholders effectively to align customer expectations with project objectives and business goals.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive successful customer engagements and achieve organizational objectives.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of innovative networking and automation solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and business success.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Eligible to apply as a 2027 graduate or final-year student.
- Possess a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies and development frameworks.
- Have proficiency in programming and scripting languages.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Possess a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and Unix shell scripting.
- Have an understanding of cloud-based application development using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services, with awareness of security and scalability best practices.
- Be proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, or Go.
- Be familiar with multiple software development environments and demonstrate strong proficiency in at least one development environment.
