Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly financial deliverables.
- Support team objectives by taking on additional responsibilities during peak workload periods.
- Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with process controls and maintain consistency in financial operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and business partners.
- Take ownership of project-related activities and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests from internal clients.
- Support accounting activities across IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
- Actively participate in team collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Seek continuous learning and professional development through formal and informal coaching from local and functional teams.
- Assist in the execution of ad-hoc projects, analyses, and business queries.
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
- Conduct thorough self-reviews to ensure accuracy and maintain high-quality work standards.
- Foster alignment between local business practices and the Global Finance culture.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local cross-functional teams and global business partners.
- Communicate proactively regarding workload, challenges, and issues with local and cross-functional stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Insurance or Reinsurance industry is preferred.
- Foundational understanding of finance, accounting, business operations, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in the Financial Services, Insurance, or Reinsurance industry.
- Good numerical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to contributing to team success.
- Curious and open-minded mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
