Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of medical instruments and associated software, including manual, automation, instrumentation, and performance testing.
  • Execute test cases, test plans, and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Support verification and validation (V&V) activities for medical devices.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
  • Assist in developing and executing automated test scenarios where applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing and validation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO and FDA-related guidelines as applicable.
  • Document test results, observations, and deviations in a clear and structured manner.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues identified during testing and validation phases.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  • Strong academic record with a solid foundation in technical concepts.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles and/or electronics fundamentals.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, Python, or Java is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of software testing concepts, including manual testing, test case creation, and defect tracking.
  • Good documentation, reporting, and technical writing skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a regulated medical device testing and validation environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to embedded systems, instrumentation, or hardware testing.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting techniques.
  • Basic awareness of quality and regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines.
  • Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar platforms.
