Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all new penetration testing requests through the JIRA board to ensure timely assignment and execution.
- Track the progress of ongoing penetration tests on a weekly basis and coordinate status updates with the security testing team.
- Maintain and update the annual penetration testing schedule to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely completion of assessments.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure the availability of required test environments, applications, and test data for penetration testing activities.
- Track, maintain, and report monthly operational metrics (MOR) to support performance monitoring and program effectiveness.
- Monitor all Critical and High severity vulnerabilities identified during penetration tests and work closely with product teams to ensure remediation within established SLA timelines.
- Maintain and regularly update the status of penetration testing findings and vulnerabilities within PlexTrac and ArmorCode to ensure accurate reporting and visibility.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, penetration testing concepts, and vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus and OpenVAS.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project tracking and issue management tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Internship experience or academic project exposure in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security operations.
- Knowledge of penetration testing frameworks and methodologies, including OWASP Top 10 and PTES.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Understanding of vulnerability management processes and security assessment practices.
