Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently on Data and Analytics initiatives with minimal guidance from managers or senior team members.
- Apply coding best practices and advanced programming techniques to develop efficient, scalable, and reusable solutions for processing large datasets.
- Execute, create, and optimize standard analytical processes to ensure the consistent delivery of metrics, reports, and insights with minimal manual intervention.
- Utilize a strong understanding of data structures to prepare, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources for data ingestion, analysis, and insight generation.
- Accurately integrate Equifax, customer, and third-party data sources to address internal and client analytical challenges of moderate complexity.
- Analyze data and communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to managers, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Review code outputs and analytical results to identify anomalies, investigate root causes, and collaborate with Data, Analytics, Product, and Technology teams to implement corrective actions.
- Communicate the business impact and significance of analytical findings, providing actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Apply an understanding of both quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate the value of analytical insights to internal and external customers.
- Ensure the appropriate use of Equifax data assets by collaborating closely with data governance, compliance, and risk management teams to maintain regulatory and policy adherence.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or an equivalent technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a data analytics, business analytics, or related analyst role.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, R, Python, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and Looker.
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams to deliver descriptive and diagnostic analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies, with cloud certification being highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Google Data Analytics certification.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to managing responsibilities and driving results independently.
- Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies, with the ability to effectively incorporate AI-driven solutions into daily work processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to collaborate across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) time zones based on project and business requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
