Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced statistical techniques using SQL and Python to analyze large and complex datasets, identify abuse patterns, develop detection signals, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the YouTube ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Policy, and Vendor teams to design, develop, and improve anti-abuse tools, enhance system accuracy, and leverage data pipelines to drive automation initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth investigations and vulnerability analyses to identify emerging abuse vectors, contribute to the development of new detection workflows, and strengthen platform integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards that transform complex anti-abuse metrics into actionable insights and strategic narratives for leadership stakeholders.
- Lead complex projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective and scalable solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Policy, and Vendor Operations to define requirements, align objectives, and drive successful project outcomes.
- Manage project timelines, monitor deliverables, and ensure adherence to established schedules and milestones.
- Respond to internal and external escalations within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and participate in on-call support rotations to ensure operational continuity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, including trend identification, summary statistics generation, and deriving insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience or working knowledge of programming and query languages such as SQL, R, Python, or C++.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, generate statistical summaries, and deliver actionable business insights.
- Knowledge of fraud detection, abuse prevention, and risk mitigation strategies within online platforms and digital ecosystems.
- Proficiency in SQL tools such as BigQuery and MySQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data processing, analytics, and automation tasks.
- Experience in prompt engineering and optimization for Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions.
- Ability to evaluate and improve model performance using statistical metrics such as precision, recall, and related performance measures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
