Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins.
- Support the automation of build, testing, and deployment processes to improve delivery efficiency.
- Work with Docker to containerize applications and services for consistent deployment environments.
- Assist in deployment activities and basic operational support within Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
- Monitor CI/CD pipeline executions and help troubleshoot build, test, and deployment failures.
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to streamline and optimize the software delivery lifecycle.
- Learn, implement, and adhere to DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management best practices.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 0 to 1 year of experience, including internships, academic projects, or hands-on laboratory work.
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exhibit effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Display a positive attitude, self-motivation, and eagerness to build a career in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline workflows.
- Possess exposure to GitLab CI and/or Jenkins pipeline configurations and processes.
- Have hands-on or academic experience working with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) concepts, including pods, services, and deployments.
- Exhibit familiarity with Linux operating system fundamentals and command-line usage.
- Possess basic scripting knowledge in Python and/or Shell scripting.
- Show a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work with new tools and technologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Have hands-on project or internship experience in DevOps and/or Cloud technologies.
- Possess exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Demonstrate knowledge of Git version control practices and branching strategies.
- Maintain an understanding of microservices architecture and related concepts.
- Have exposure to monitoring and logging tools used in DevOps environments.
- Hold certifications or completed coursework related to DevOps, Docker, or Kubernetes.
