Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance forecasting models and analytical tools.
- Monitor forecasting model performance and implement improvements to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with demand planners and analysts to gather business insights, inputs, and forecasting requirements.
- Conduct back-testing activities and support the setup and configuration of forecasting tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate forecast generation to support business planning and operational decisions.
- Promote and drive the adoption of statistical forecasting methodologies and best practices.
Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of high forecast accuracy with minimal forecast bias.
- Improvement in forecast value addition to business operations and planning.
- Timely delivery of forecasts in alignment with business schedules and deadlines.
- Increased adoption, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of forecasting models and tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand modeling, including time series analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms and technologies.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and demand planning methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate and explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
