Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall ownership of material ordering, ensuring availability and effective scheduling to maintain a minimum target of two weeks of inventory levels.
- Demonstrate expertise in Oracle systems and Digital Cockpit tools for efficient material planning and tracking.
- Ensure system-level accuracy of inventory through regular monitoring and validation.
- Manage material rescheduling activities, including pull-ins (expediting) and push-outs to maintain optimal inventory control.
- Perform daily root cause analysis of material shortages and implement timely resolution measures.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to address packaging requirements, min/max planning, material replenishment, and root-cause problem-solving.
- Conduct daily shop floor and receiving dock walkthroughs to identify and resolve material receipt and handling issues.
- Support material transfer activities and participate in supplier review discussions in coordination with the Sourcing team.
- Manage Phase-In and Phase-Out (NPI) processes effectively to minimize obsolete inventory.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Soft Skills:
- Possess working knowledge of MRP systems and familiarity with Oracle or SAP, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities with a structured and analytical approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
