Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and maintaining data processing pipelines for the A220 DMU project.
- Extract data from multiple sources and load it into target systems efficiently.
- Support the development of web APIs using Node.js and AWS Lambda to enable data accessibility across applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to understand requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Document code, workflows, and processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and maintainability.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in software development and data engineering.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work in European shift timings when required (up to 10:30 PM IST in summer and 11:30 PM IST in winter).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of programming fundamentals in at least one programming language.
- Possess familiarity with data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas.
- Have a good understanding of data structures, particularly DataFrames.
- Maintain basic knowledge of SQL and experience interacting with databases.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Show eagerness to learn with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Have exposure to Node.js for developing web APIs.
- Possess familiarity with cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of serverless architecture, such as AWS Lambda.
- Have knowledge of RESTful APIs and data-interchange formats like JSON.
- Be experienced with version control systems such as Git.
Soft Skills:
- Exhibit strong communication skills with an advanced level of English proficiency and active listening abilities.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, or applications.
- Possess knowledge of Sustainability IT, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Display strong communication and presentation skills.
