Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of software solutions while ensuring high quality and performance standards.
- Define and develop new components with a clear understanding of service interdependencies and system limitations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices, with a strong willingness to continuously learn.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to support iterative and agile development processes.
- Collaborate effectively with product development and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Exhibit a self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented approach with a strong curiosity for continuous learning.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven programming experience in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong computer science fundamentals with excellent coding and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Exposure to cloud and distributed systems such as Azure, Exchange, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with relevant programming experience.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2+ years of technical engineering experience involving programming in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Willingness to undergo and successfully pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer, and every two years thereafter.
