Key Responsibilities:
- Perform database testing using SQL, preferably with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for Microsoft SQL Server.
- Demonstrate strong debugging skills to identify issues during testing and provide effective solutions, while maintaining a proactive and quality-focused attitude.
- Collaborate effectively across Scrum teams and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay updated with the latest best practices, tools, techniques, and trends in automation testing.
- Design, develop, and execute automation testing strategies and frameworks.
- Drive automation initiatives to minimize functional defects and identify performance issues early in the development lifecycle, prior to production release.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working as a Functional QA tester.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and the defect lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of QA processes, test execution, and reporting practices.
- Ability to understand and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Capability to design user stories and define clear acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and investigating environment-related issues.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, and continuous integration systems.
- Basic understanding of capital markets, electronic trading, order flow, execution, and FIX protocol.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Basic understanding of KDB technology.
- Working knowledge of Unix environments.
